With academic training in the field of economics, Ms Karamjeet Kaur have also worked extensively on socio-economic issues in Punjab, particularly concerning marginalized communities. During my M.Phil., she conducted research on “The Economic Evaluation of Unpaid Work in Rural Punjab.” Her experience includes roles as a field investigator and research assistant on various projects that addressed diverse, relevant, and emerging challenges—such as farmers' suicides and rural distress. These engagements have provided her with a holistic understanding of Punjab’s economy. With a strong academic foundation and a grounded field perspective, She is committed to further advancing my research and teaching in this domain.
