Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme is designed to develop essential managerial skills for various organizational roles. Throughout the program, students build a strong foundation in general management areas such as accounting, marketing, finance, organizational behavior, and strategy.

Passed with 50% aggregate marks (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST) in 10+2 examination

Flexible Pathways

At DAV University, we offer flexible pathways for students to tailor their educational journey according to their aspirations and commitments.

Those who complete the entire three-year undergraduate programme, accumulating 120 credits, are granted a coveted bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Business Administration.

Alternatively, students have the option to exit the programme at various stages, each milestone marked by academic recognition.

Certificate

Students opting to exit the programme after earning a minimum of 40 credits get an undergraduate certificate in the relevant discipline/subject. This certification acknowledges their foundational knowledge and skills acquired during their academic pursuit. To ensure practical applicability, students must also accrue at least 4 credits in work-based vocational courses, providing hands-on experience through internships or apprenticeships.

Diploma

Similarly, students who attain a minimum of 80 credits can opt to exit the programme with an undergraduate Diploma in the relevant disciplines/subject. Alongside academic excellence, students are required to earn an additional 4 credits in skill-based vocational courses, enhancing their proficiency in specialized areas and augmenting their employability.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honours / Honours with Research

Our 3-year BBA program offers the option to extend studies by one year, leading to an Honours degree. In the fourth year of the BBA (Hons.) program, students have three distinct options:

Advance Majors: Specialize in a specific area of business management to enhance proficiency.

Research: For students with academic excellence (minimum 75% marks in the first six semesters), undertake a dissertation project under faculty guidance to refine critical and analytical skills.

Internships: Apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios, enhancing employability skills as per NEP 2020. Gain on-site experiential learning and exposure to industry practices.

The programme offers an esteemed pathway for motivated students to pursue Bachelor's Degree (Honours) in their fourth year.

Candidates maintaining a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 7.5 (75%) throughout the first three years are eligible to opt for Bachelor's Degree (Honours) with Research, a testament to their academic prowess and commitment to scholarly inquiry. This pathway opens doors to advanced research opportunities, allowing students to delve deeper into their areas of interest and contribute meaningfully to the academic community.

The Programme Outline:

The Curriculum is designed to cater to the needs of Industry. Various industrial visits are also organized to give students hands on experience so that they can impart the business knowledge in classroom. Several other co-curricular and extracurricular activities are organised to attain Outcome Bases Education, a student-centred approach that demonstrates the achievements of a set of defined goals in the delivery / implementation of both the formal curriculum and extra- / co-curricular programmes and activities. OBE is implemented to develop knowledge, designing learning Tasks and assessing the achievement of Graduates.
