Dr. Saloni Raheja
Dr. Saloni Raheja is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce & Business Management (CBM), DAV University, Jalandhar. She has completed her Ph.D from Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. Her research is focused on the area of Behavioral Finance, Investment Decisions, Accounting and Management, and the Stock market. She has presented papers in various national and international conferences and has published a plethora of research papers in journals of national and international repute (Including SCOPUS indexed, Emerald, THOMSON REUTERS and SAGE journals). She is also a reviewer of Springer, Emerald and Elsevier Journals. She was awarded for holding a distinction position in the university. She was earlier an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at DRV DAV Centenary College, Phillaur. She has an experience of more than 9 years of in academics and research. She has been teaching subjects in the field of finance to post-graduate as well as undergraduate classes which comprise of Management Accounting, Operations Research, Corporate Accounting, Theory and Practice of Accounting, Financial Management, Management Control systems and many more. She has also done an Advance Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management. She has also been a part of the cultural committee of the department. She has attended various FDP programs, and workshops and organized workshops on Writing & Publishing Quality Research Paper, organized Workshop on Advanced Excel, R, and Hadoop, and organized a Workshop on Soft Skills in collaboration with IIM Calcutta event.
