Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences Programmes Offered

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy)

  1. Pharmacy program is a four-year undergraduate course designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences. Students gain hands-on experience through state-of-the-art laboratories, industrial visits, and research projects. The program prepares graduates for careers in drug manufacturing, clinical research, quality control, regulatory affairs, and hospital pharmacy.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharmacy)

  1. Pharmacy course is a two-year diploma program aimed at providing foundational knowledge and practical skills in pharmacy. This course is ideal for students who wish to pursue a career as registered pharmacists. Students of this program are well-equipped to work in community pharmacies, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies or pursue further studies in pharmacy.

Eligibility:

Minimum qualification for admission in B. Pharmacy & D. Pharmacy:

  1. Pharm & D.Pharm:

Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by  the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

  1. Pharm lateral entry (to third semester):

A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
