Dr.Garima Baluja is an Assistant Professor in the department of Commerce & Business Management. She qualified UGC-JRF in the year 2010 and joined as a research scholar in GNDU in the year 2011. Then, she pursued full time research from June 2011 to August 2014. Her research is focused in the area of survival analysis, stock market volatility, and financial inclusion. She has published research papers in several esteemed journals of Emerald (Journal of Advances in Management Research), Business Analyst, Vision, Management and Labour Studies, Amity Business Review, IUP, and PBR etc. She has done MBA in finance in the year 2009. Throughout her undergraduate and post graduate period, she bagged many medals and awards for holding university positions. She has worked as a lecturer in the department of Management, Lovely Professional University from January 2010-May2011. In DAV University, she has been teaching subjects in the field of finance to post-graduate as well as under graduate classes which comprises of Income tax laws, Corporate tax planning, Financial Management, Banking and Insurance, Auditing, Personal Financial planning, and Indian Financial System, etc. She believes in imparting in-depth knowledge to the students that enhances their capabilities to sustain in the competitive environment.
