Agro Club is an organisation of agricultural students and professionals who are dedicated to the development of agriculture department in DAV University. The main objective of club include creating awareness among the farming community of the area; promotion of academic and professional interests of members.

Event Report
Agro club of Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, DAV University, Jalandhar organized an event “AGREAM” on 30th September, 2021 in which various competitions like chess, poster making, photography, quiz, BGMI and Free Fire were conducted. About 70 students participated in the different events. In chess, Mr. Jaskaran bagged first prize, Ms. Ritika second and Mr. Shubham Jena bagged third prize. In poster making competition, Ms Nancy, Ms. Anmol Preet Kaur and Ms. Simran Kamal won first, second and third prize, respectively. Mr. Kulnandan and Mr. Abhinandan bagged first and second prize, in photography. In quiz, Ms Damini and Ms. Marvi won first prize, Ms. Bhumika and Mr. Sangam won second prize and Mr. Abhishek and Mr. Navjot won third prize. In BGMI, Mr. Mohit and Mr. Daman won first prize, Mr. Jatin and Mr. Mandeep won second and Mr. Vaibhavjeet won third prize. Faculty and student coordinators, Agro Club, all faculty members, all CRs and DR were present during the event.

In which students and teachers of agriculture department planted Neem trees in the university campus.
DEBATE COMPITION: -
A debate competition was organized during science week on 1st march 2016.
The topic for debate competition was GENETICALLY MODIDFIED CROPS.
