Supriya Mahajan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Business Management at DAV University, Jalandhar and Ph.D. Scholar in Management (Human Resource Management) With extensive experience in academia, she combines her teaching, research, and administrative expertise to contribute meaningfully to higher education. She is currently pursuing her doctoral research on “Remote Working, Employee Engagement, and its Impact on Employee Productivity in the IT Industry,” focusing on contemporary transformations in workplace behaviour and human capital management.
Ms. Supriya holds an M.Phil and an MBA in Management (HRM-Finance), providing her with a strong foundation in core business and human resource principles. Over the years, she has taught a diverse range of courses across MBA and BBA programs, including Foundations of Management, Quantitative Techniques, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour and Design, Marketing Research, and Corporate Strategy at the postgraduate level, and Principles and Practices of Management, Business Research Methods, Operations Research, and Training and Development at the undergraduate level. She also supervises MBA research projects and contributes actively to curriculum design and academic development.
A committed researcher, Ms.Mahajan has authored and presented several peer-reviewed papers and conference presentations on themes such as employee satisfaction, motivation, performance appraisal systems, and the evolving dynamics of remote work. She possesses expertise in SPSS and is proficient in applying quantitative and mixed-method research approaches.
She has demonstrated consistent academic excellence through her participation in various professional development courses, earning Outstanding Performance in the Refresher Course on Mixed Method Research. She has also completed Short-Term Courses on Research Methodology and Data Analysis using SPSS for Social Sciences, HR Analytics, and Digital Marketing for Business Development. She actively engages in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and research workshops to stay abreast of emerging trends in pedagogy, analytics, and management research.
Beyond academics, Ms. Supriya exhibits strong organizational and leadership skills as a Cultural Convenor and Event Organizer, having successfully managed diverse institutional events encompassing planning, budgeting, coordination, and promotion.
