VISION
- Pass out from Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, shall be able to cater to the needs of
stakeholders in academia, industry and public/ private/ farming sector
- Adequate facilities will be created in discipline- specific labs and fields for conducting
research addressing to various issues relating to farming at regional- and national levels
- Mobility of the students and faculty to and from national and international institutions will
be facilitated
MISSION
M1: To make provision for imparting education in different branches of agricultural sciences
with focus on inter- disciplinary approach, in line with the NEP-2020
M2: To facilitate job- oriented education to students aiming at producing human resource
equipped with necessary abilities to become market- ready or to start their own enterprises
M3: To guide students in understanding challenging issues facing the farming system and
finding viable solution for the same
