She did her post-graduation from Punjab University Chandigarh, one of the renowned Universities of India. She started her career in 2003 with Sant Baba Bhag Singh Institute of Engg. & Technology, now known as Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, and worked there for 10 years in the capacity of Librarian. Since Aug. 2013, she is the part of DAV University as Assistant Librarian. During this period of her career, she participated in more than twenty five workshops, seminars and national/international conferences and published many research papers in national /international journals of repute. Her areas of interest are Library Automation & Digitization. She is Nodal person of National Digital Library India for DAV University & University Co-coordinator for Shodhganga & ShodhShuddhi. She is member of different working Committees of the University such as Library Advisory Committee & University Academic Council and also member of many professional bodies like Indian Library Association (ILA) & Library Professionals Association(LPA).
