Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering _{Department Highlights}

Post Graduate students have worked in collaboration with CARE, IIT Delhi to carry out their research activities.
Faculty and students benefit from guest lectures on the latest innovations in both established and emerging fields.
One of the students presented an electronics project at national level project competition at IIT Kharagpur and reached the semi-final level.
Some M Tech students got annual package of 6 Lacs p.a. in various MNC such as EDIFECS Technologies Private Limited, HCL, etc.
The students of B.Tech ECE Batch 2013 visited Central Scientific Instruments Organization on 26-Sep-2015.
R. S. Kaler, Senior Professor and Deputy Director, Thapar University delivered expert lecture on “Recent Advancements & Challenges in Optical Communications” on 22nd May, 2015.
