Mission of the Department
- To foster and support pupil-teachers in their learning ability which would help them to develop a critical mindset.
- To inculcate values that would make them to sense what is right and wrong, treating others with respect, being objective, patient and compassionate.
- To provide an environment which develops leadership skills and all round personality of the pupil-teachers.
- To identify and resolve pupil-teachers’ misconceptions in teaching learning process and incorporate constructivist approach in pedagogical strategies.
- To imbibe proficiencies such as communication skills and usage of various ICT tools that would enable pupil teachers to compete in the present competitive world
