The Research Areas covered in Department of Zoology are Entomology and Parasitology. Currently there are two PhD students in the Department who are working on the enhancer localization of genes involved in Dorso-ventral and anterioro-posterior patterning of various insect species. In addition to them, the M.Sc students submit their research projects every year from different areas of Zoology.
