B.Sc Zoology

The students will be able to

PSO1: Understand the classification, identification, and characteristics of organisms while demonstrating knowledge of core zoological principles.

PSO2: Develop laboratory, analytical, and statistical skills necessary for conducting experiments and interpreting zoological data.

PSO3: Apply effective methods for studying, modifying, and managing animal behavior in research and practical settings.

PSO4: Work safely and efficiently in fieldwork, laboratories, and animal facilities while critically analyzing and applying relevant zoological principles.

M.Sc (Hons.) Zoology

The students will be able to

PSO1:    Develop an in-depth understanding of various branches of life sciences, including Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Physiology, Developmental Biology, Endocrinology, Reproductive Physiology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Ichthyology, and Entomology.

PSO2:    Explain the functioning of organisms at molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and system levels while gaining theoretical and practical expertise in handling model organisms for research.

PSO3:    Utilize zoological knowledge to address global, economic, environmental, and societal challenges, contributing to sustainable development and scientific advancements..

PSO4:    Uphold ethical principles in professional and research practices while designing, conducting, interpreting experiments, and applying statistical methods in biological research.
