In line with NEP 2020, the Department also contributes to the University’s multidisciplinary framework by offering several open elective and skill-based courses such as Professional Communication, Technical Communication, and Creative Writing. Additionally, through our academic collaboration with Cambridge University Press, we offer Cambridge English I and Cambridge English II based on the globally recognized Interchange Level 2 and 3 series. These are taught across multiple disciplines to build global language competencies.
Our pedagogy is grounded in Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and enriched through Activity-Based Learning (ABL) strategies such as discussions, presentations, project work, and creative assessments. Texts are carefully curated to engage students with both local and global concerns, fostering independent thought and confident expression.
