Mr. Vipan Bansal is working as Assistant Professor and Coordinator in Mechanical Engineering Department at D.A.V. University, Jalandhar. Earlier he served as Assistant Professor cum Coordinator of the department in Lovely Professional University, Phagwara. He started his career as a lecturer at DBPI, Dhuri. He received his B. Tech from SLIET, Longowal, and M. Tech from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. During his academic career of more than 15 years Mr. Bansal has taught various subjects at UG/PG levels and also a part of various university committees. He has contributed 25 research papers in National and International journals/conferences of repute. He is author of 5 books related to industrial engineering and manufacturing. He was a member of board of studies for UG and PG programs and also a member of several professional bodies including ISTE, IANEG and ISME. His area of interest is hard machining and customer satisfaction.
