He did his B.Tech.( Mechanical Engineering) from National Institute of Technolgy Srinagar, M.Tech.(Manufacturing and Automation) from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and PhD Pursuing from DAV University. During B.Tech. He has attended training in RCF Kapurthala and JKSRTC Jammu. He has worked with M/s N.K Metals as a supervisor from 2005 to 2007, with M/s V.K Engg. as a site engineering from 2007 to 2008, with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University as Technical Assistant from 2008 to 2014. He has attended two days  Training program on Functioning and Maintenance of Solar Radiation Resource Assessment station NISE, Gurgaon. He has attended ten faculty development programme in reputed institutes like IITs, NITs and participated in the three days capacity building training program on punjab energy conservation building code in Jalandhar.He has attended and presented  twelve National and international conference paper. He supervised 05 postgraduate thesis in the area of Solar energy and non-traditional machining methods.His areas of interest are Non conventional machining processes and Bio medical materials.
