Sumit Nijjar completed  his B Tech from PTU, Jalandhar and M Tech from NIT Jalandhar. He started his career at SBBSIET, Padhiana and worked there for around 5.5 years as Assistant Professor. He recieved the appreciation letters from the competent authority for sincere efforts in admissions for 3 consective years. Later he joined Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar where he worked for around 1.5 years as an Assistant Professor. Currently working as a Assistant Professor in DAV University.  He has around 11 years of academic experience of teaching graduate and post graduate students. His key area of research is Manufacturing (Materials) and Ergonomics. He has published/presented couple of research papers in National journals/conferences.
