Dr. Tarun Dhadwal
Dr. Tarun Dhadwal is a distinguished Myrmecologist with a profound expertise in Ant systematics, Taxonomy, Natural History, and Molecular Phylogeny. He earned his Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala, where he conducted extensive research on the diversity and evolutionary relationships of ants. He holds an M.Sc. in Zoology with a specialization in Entomology from Punjabi University, Patiala. His scholarly contributions include the publication of 11 research papers in prestigious International Journals. Notably, he has described several new species of Ants from India, significantly enriching the field of Myrmecology.
His research experience extends to serving as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in two major Research Projects:
