Dr. Jaskiran Kaur, MPhil- PhD has received her MPhil and PhD from Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India in years 2012 and 2019, respectively with specilization in environmental biotechnology. She explored the potential of alginate magnetic nanoparticle beads for immobilization of quorum quenching bacteria isolated from dairy industry wastewater, to alleviate biofouling during her doctoral program. She has published 5 research papers in peer-reviewed national and international research journals, 2 papers in conference proceedings and 17 book chapters in edited books in the areas of wastewater management and treatment, membrane bioreactor, membrane fouling mitigation, quorum quenching, biofuels, bioremediation, food waste bio refineries, emerging contaminants and climate change and 2 edited book (one by CRC Press). She served as a Brand ambassador in "The Bentham Science Publisher" during the year 2019-20; Acquisition Editorial member of the International Journal of Social and Scientific Research from June 1, 2019 to May 30, 2020 and Adhoc reviewer for Plos One and Sustainable Chemistry and Pharmacy. She has participated in various training programs, faculty development programs, refresher courses, seminars, webinars and presented her work in various national and international conferences as well.
