Mrs. Shanu Priya, Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a strong background in research and teaching. She is currently pursuing PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar, with a research focus on "Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of Antidiabetic Agents". She has completed her  M. Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical chemistry from Shoolini University, Solan, Himachal Pradesh.

 She has several notable achievements to her credit like granted a patent on a plant-protecting biodegradable device, issued on May 2, 2024. Additionally,  published a research paper in a Scopus-indexed journal on the topic "Nano-engineered Erythrocytes Membrane Shields Metal-organic Framework: Advancing Targeted Cancer Therapy" in 2024.

 With a strong teaching and research experience, she is currently working as an Assistant Professor at DAV University, Jalandhar, since 2023. Prior to this, worked  from 2017 -2023 as an Assistant Professor at Laureate Institute of Pharmacy, Kathog, District Dehra, Himachal Pradesh, and as a Lecturer at Manav Bharti University, Kumarhatti, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh.june (2017- Nov 2017)

Her research areas of interest include the design and synthesis of alpha-amylase inhibitors, development of new methodologies for drug discovery and development, and investigation of the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance. She teaches courses in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Analysis.
