Dr. Manavpreet Kaur Dhindsa
Dr. Manavpreet Kaur Dhindsa is an accomplished legal academic and practitioner with over two decades of diverse experience in teaching, research and legal practice. Holding a Ph.D. in Criminal Law, her research notably focuses on community policing and police-public relations in Punjab. She currently serves as a Coordinator at the School of Law and Legal Studies, DAV University, Jalandhar and has previously held significant academic and administrative roles, including Officiating Principal and Assistant Professor at reputed institutions. Her professional journey is marked by a blend of academic excellence and practical exposure, having practiced as an advocate and contributed extensively to legal education. Dr. Dhindsa has actively participated in numerous international and national conferences, often as a presenter and panel speaker, addressing contemporary issues such as constitutional morality, cyber law, gender justice and environmental concerns. A prolific scholar, she has published research papers in reputed journals and contributed to edited books on intellectual property rights, gender equality and criminal justice. Her research experience includes many publications in International and National conferences and 5 patents. Additionally, she has been recognized for her academic leadership through roles as a judge, resource person and expert assessor in moot courts and legal competitions.
