He has a B.E and M.E Degree from M.I.T.S Gwalior in Electrical Engineering. He has done his Ph.D. Degree from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology Sangroor Punjab. His areas of specialization are power electronics and drives. Apart from 15 years of teaching experience, he has 4 years of industrial experience in electrical maintenance, planning, and quality assurance. He has established many labs during his teaching tenure and prepared lab manuals for better student understanding. He has efficaciously completed course mission 10-X organized and designed by Wipro on effective teaching skills and innovative methodology in teaching. He has Wipro certification in high-impact teaching skills. He participated in various faculty development programs/quality improvement programs organized by IIT/NIT He has guided 10 B.Tech/M.Tech thesis.  His current area of interest is a power system optimization, power flow analysis, and optimal power flow that includes, ANNS, Evolutionary Algorithms, and Fuzzy Systems He has presented/published 23 papers in various journals/conferences, of repute which include science citation index/refereed journals. He is currently an Assistant professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at DAV University.
