Dr. Shelly Garg completed her Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali in December 2014. The area of her research interest is Algebra. She completed her M.Sc. (Hons. School) Mathematics with Gold medal from Panjab University, Chandigarh. During her M.Sc., she cleared UGC-NET exam and was also selected to receive post-graduation fellowship by National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM), Govt. of India. She was also awarded with Best Graduate Student award by Panjab University, Chandigarh. She has presented her research work in various National and International conferences in India and abroad (Dubai and South Korea). With her research work, she has published various research papers in journals of international repute. Currently, she is guiding two Ph.D students and has more than 8 years of teaching experience. She has delivered several invited lectures in various colleges under DBT Star College Scheme and DST Inspire.
