Dr. Sanjeev Sharma is serving as the Dean, Computer Science and Technology, and Associate Professor at DAV University, Jalandhar. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

With over 25 years of comprehensive experience in teaching, research, administration, and industry, Dr. Sharma has made significant contributions to academia and applied AI. He has published more than 55 research papers in reputed journals indexed in SCI, ESCI, SCIE, and Scopus.

He has successfully guided five Ph.D. scholars and continues to supervise research in the areas of AI, NLP, and Machine Learning.

Dr. Sharma has developed impactful NLP-based solutions, including a Punjabi Language Grammar Checker designed to detect and suggest corrections for grammatical errors in complex sentence structures, supporting regional language technology and inclusive communication.

In addition to his academic and research contributions, he has extensive experience in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS), university websites, and large-scale digital platforms. He is actively engaged in developing AI agents and is currently working on advanced areas such as Agentic AI and inclusive AI systems, focusing on real-world applications and accessibility.
