Pratibha Khutan joined DAV University’s Department of Psychology as an Assistant Professor in August 2023. She has done M.A. (Hons.) in Psychology and Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Counseling from the Department of Psychology, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Before joining DAV University she was a Ph.D. Research Scholar (full-time) in the Department of Psychology, at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She qualified her UGC-NET JRF in Psychology in May 2017. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology in Hansraj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar in 2017. She teaches subjects to post-graduate as well as undergraduate classes which comprise Statistical Techniques in Psychology, Social Psychology, Child Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, Experimental Designs, Research Methodology, and Drug Abuse. She has attended various Workshops, Short Term Courses, Webinars, FDPs, Seminars, and Conferences. She has also presented her research papers at National and International Level Conferences/Seminars.
