1.DAV University organized an expert talk on raising awareness about heart related medical problems and their preventions The event, organized under the aegis of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in collaboration with the Pharmacy Welfare Society, Punjab, featured distinguished medical experts Dr. Amardeep Markan, a Cardiologist, and Dr. Bikramjit Singh, a Neurosurgeon.

2.A Health Checkup Camp was organized by the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, on 30-09-2023. Dr. Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence.

3.The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, organized a CPR Awareness Camp on 06-12-2023 as per the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India. This online program informed students about artificial respiration techniques.

4.DAV University organized an expert talk on raising awareness about Tuberculosis and its prevention. The event, held under the aegis of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, featured distinguished medical expert Dr. Amaritpal Kaur, a Pulmonologist, and Dr. Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, on 24-03-2024, commemorating National TB Day.

5.On 1st March 2024, students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, visited Kwality Pharmaceutical, Amritsar. The visit provided an invaluable learning experience, offering students an in-depth understanding of Quality Control Tests conducted on pharmaceutical formulations.

6.On 7th November 2023, students from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, visited the Punjab Institute of Medical Sciences, Jalandhar. The visit offered an invaluable learning experience, providing students the opportunity to interact personally with patients and doctors.

7.The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an educational visit for students to DAV Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar, on 19th September 2024. Students gained practical experience in Ayurvedic medicine formulations, witnessing how traditional methods integrate with modern science to create holistic healthcare solutions.

8.National Science Day was celebrated on 28th February 2024 at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, Jalandhar, under the visionary guidance of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar. The day was filled with enriching experiences designed to ignite students' curiosity.

9.The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a five-day Value-Added Training Program on “Pharmaceutical Sales and Marketing Management” from 16th to 20th September. During this training, students explored core aspects of pharmaceutical sales, marketing strategies, branding, and navigating competitive markets.

10.On 13th November 2024, the Pharmacy Department organized the workshop "DAV Pharma Fusion: From Lab to Industry" to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial applications. With 163 participants, the event featured hands-on formulation development of tablets, syrups, ointments, and gels under expert supervision.

11.The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, DAV University, celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September 2024, honoring educators for their dedication and contributions to students' academic and personal growth. The event featured cultural performances, heartfelt speeches, skits, and interactive games, all expressing gratitude and appreciation for the teachers' unwavering support.

12.On 27th November 2024, D.Pharm students, accompanied by faculty members Mrs. Sapna, Mr. Nitish, and Mr. Anish, visited the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at DAV University, Jalandhar. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into sewage treatment processes and their significance in environmental management and public health.

13.The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized Pharmacy Week from 8th to 14th November 2024, featuring two major events aimed at bridging academic learning with industrial practices. The department hosted a hands-on workshop, "DAV Pharma Fusion: From Lab to Industry," emphasizing practical pharmaceutical applications. Dr. Rajni Thakur and Dr. Gagan Thakur from DAV Ayurvedic College shared insights into recent pharmaceutical advancements.

14.On 14th November 2024, the Pharmacy Department, DAV University, Jalandhar, organized an informative lecture to commemorate World Diabetes Day, focusing on diabetes awareness, prevention, and management.

15.The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a Logo Design Competition on the theme "Elevate through Innovation: Startup Logo Designs" on 14th August 2024. With 72 participants, the event aimed to inspire creativity, boost confidence, and enhance students' design skills.

16.DAV University, Jalandhar, organized a spectacular Diwali Carnival, celebrating India's rich cultural heritage through vibrant exhibits, engaging competitions, and lively festivities. Various university departments represented states such as Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi, Bihar, and Gujarat, highlighting their unique traditions with displays of food, attire, and cultural performances. The event also included Mehndi, Rangoli, Art, and Drawing competitions. The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences secured the Second Prize for their exceptional creativity and cultural representation.

17.On 19th November 2024, DAV University, Jalandhar, hosted a Blood Donation Camp at its Health Centre under the theme "Think Health, Think Pharmacy." The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of blood donation and motivate students, faculty, and staff to participate in this life-saving initiative. Organized in partnership with the university’s pharmacy department and local health authorities, the camp ensured smooth operations and strict adherence to safety protocols.
