The Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Club is formed with the aim of creating awareness and building a culture of safety and preparedness among students. The club encourages active participation in activities that promote environmental responsibility, health, and safety measures to reduce the impact of disasters. Through this club, students will be involved in various initiatives such as: Tree plantation, Blood donation camps, School, parks and temple premises, Awareness campaigns, mock drills, etc.
By participating in these activities, students will gain valuable knowledge in risk management, community responsibility, and disaster preparedness, helping build a safer and more resilient society.
Objectives of Disaster Risk Reduction Club:
- To organize and manage awareness campaigns and safety drills.
- To coordinate events like tree plantation and blood donation camps.
- To plan and execute cleanliness drives in school, parks and temple premises.
- To promote teamwork, responsibility, and time management.
- To encourage sustainable practices and environmental management.
- To manage volunteers and assign duties during community activities.
- To create future leaders who can manage social responsibilities effectively.
