ALUMNI

Being an active NSS member in college shaped my personality and career. It instilled discipline, leadership, and social responsibility. Through community service, I gained insight into issues faced by marginalized groups, inspiring my interest in labor welfare and UPSC with Labour Laws and Public Administration. NSS also improved my communication and teamwork skills, fostering empathy and problem-solving—key traits for an Assistant Labour Commissioner. The values of service and justice I learned continue to guide my public service journey.

NSS transformed me, instilling discipline, leadership, and empathy. It deepened my community connection and revealed my potential to make an impact. The experience shaped my personal and professional journey.

Best thing about DAV NSS: Its unity, service spirit, and mentor support. DAV NSS doesn’t just create volunteers—it shapes purposeful leaders.

NSS helped me grow as a leader by engaging in various activities like cleanliness drives, awareness campaigns, and community outreach. These experiences taught me discipline, time management, and teamwork. Leading and coordinating events boosted my confidence and decision-making skills. Constant interaction with peers and mentors shaped my ability to take initiative and inspired a strong sense of responsibility and service
