achieve your goals

Different people perceive success differently. Money and power are
the main markers of success in the fast paced world of today. But,
to live the life you truly want or deserve, you must aspire to achieve
a third metric. This third parameter to success goes beyond the two
metrics of money and power, and consists of well-being, wisdom,
wonder, and giving. This is how great people have defined success.

Some prerequisites for achieving goals and becoming successful
in life are well known. Believing in yourself and doing what you think
is right are imperatives of success.

Fix a target and discipline yourself to follow it. Set a goal which
is worth your calling. Concentrate on sketching your small, immediate
goals, with short deadlines. The most important is the commitment to
finish what you started. A half-hearted initiative leads nowhere. It is
humane to feel dejected after a prolonged period of time when the
efforts do not appear to bear fruit or benefit.
