B. Sc. in Agriculture is four year programme with well-designed curriculum to impart knowledge and training in both fundamental and applied aspects of agriculture as designed by the 5 th Deans Committee of ICAR. Each course is adequately supported by applied practical conducted in well-equipped laboratories and experimental fields.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture aims at developing highly specialized manpower in diverse areas of agriculture and its applications in industry, commercial food, fuel and fodder production, environment and research. B. Sc. (Hons) Agriculture has a wide variety of career opportunities ranging from academics to manufacturing, marketing, banking, extension work, State Agriculture department, corporations and quality control.

Eligibility: Minimum aggregate 55% marks in 10+2 with PCM/PCA/ PCB/ PCMB.*

Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum aggregate score for admission to a candidate belonging to SC/ST. 

M Sc (Hons) Agriculture        

Duration: 2 Years (Semester System)  

M.Sc. in Agriculture is a postgraduate course in Agricultural Sciences where students undertake specific research in fundamental and applied aspects of agriculture and its allied fields. Master’s courses in Agriculture are designed as per the recommendations of 4 th Dean Committee of ICAR. Each course is adequately supported by applied practical conducted in well-equipped laboratories and experimental fields.

 Eligibility: B.Sc (Agri./ Horticulture with a minimum CGPA of 6.50 in 10 point scale, 3.25 in 5 point scale or 2.60 in 4 point scale for General category (60% marks if CGPA is not given). For SC/ST category, a minimum CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale, 2.75 in 5 point scale or 2.20 in 4 point scale.(50% marks where CGPA is not given).
