B Sc (Hons) Agriculture        

Duration: 4 Years (Semester System)                            

The programme has well-designed curriculum that is based on choice based credit system (CBCS) as mandated by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and imparts training in both fundamental and applied aspects of agriculture as designed by the 4th Deans Committee of ICAR. Each course is adequately supported by applied practical conducted in well-equipped laboratories and experimental fields.

B Sc (Hons) Agriculture aims at developing highly specialized manpower in diverse areas of agriculture and its applications in industry, commercial food, fuel and fodder production, environment and research. B Sc (Hons) Agriculture has a wide variety of career opportunities ranging from academics to manufacturing, marketing, banking, extension work, State Agriculture department, corporations and quality control.

Eligibility: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 55 % aggregate marks with English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics or agriculture and Rank in DAVUET (If applicable).

Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum aggregate score for admission to a candidate belonging to SC/ST
