VISIT TO NATIONAL LOK ADALAT 2026

On May 9, 2026, the students of the School of Law and Legal Studies, DAV University, Jalandhar visited the National Lok Adalat 2026 held in District Courts Jalandhar as part of an academic and practical learning initiative. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to the alternative dispute resolution mechanism and the functioning of Lok Adalats in the Indian legal system.

During the visit, the students observed various proceedings and gained practical understanding of amicable settlement of disputes through conciliation and compromise. The experience offered valuable insights into speedy justice delivery, legal aid mechanisms, and the importance of reducing pendency of cases through alternative dispute resolution forums.
