It is a proud moment for DAV University that two of its Assistant Professors Naveen Bilandi and Arvind Mahindru have been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by National institute of Technology (NIT) Jalandhar. Dr. Naveen is from Computer Science Engineering, department and Dr. Arvind belongs to Computer science and applications (CSA). They were honored in the presence of Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Mr. Bilandi delved into Development of Energy Aware Routing Protocol for Wireless Body Area Networks, a research topic for which he was conferred PhD. Recently, his research paper on “Coronavirus Outbreak Using Machine Learning and Internet of Things”, was highly appreciated by scholars and critics. He is heading IT cell also.

On the other hand, Mr. Arvind worked on the topic Dynamic Analysis Based Android Malware Detection using Machine Learning Techniques. Dr. Arvind is coordinator of IT data center (ITDC) department of the University. Both are members of the admission and discipline committee of the University.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Jasbir Rishi congratulated both and said that the University remains a leader when it comes to contributing to the country, producing academics and imparting quality education.

Registrar Dr. K.N. Kaul and Dean Academics Dr. R.K. Seth also gave them best wishes for future endeavors.
