DAV University in collaboration with IDP organized an Overseas Education Awareness Seminar on 30th August 2019. The Business Development Manager (BDM) of IDP, Jalandhar, Ms. Garima and her team addressed the students regarding the ways in which they can plan higher education abroad without paying hefty fees. Many in Punjab remain interested in going either to Canada or Australia for which they are ready to forego a huge amount. Agents generally take benefit of their client’s unawareness and charge them with heavy fees. Therefore, they said, students  should be aware of the frauds committed by agents to befool the public.

They also informed the students regarding the universities in Australia and Canada and also urged them to choose good “Q.S. ranking” and “Times ranking” universities to ensure their bright future. In the end they informed the students about an upcoming road show where various Universities of Australia and Canada are going to interact with the students about possible prospects of admission. The show will be held in Jalandhar.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Desh Bandhu Gupta,  Registrar of the University, Dr. Sushma Arya, HoD , CBME Mr. Pranjal Pachpore, faculty members including Mr. Puneet Sharma, Dr. Namrita Kalia, Mr. Sidhartha  were also present on this occasion.
