The department of journalism and Mass communication organized a guest lecture. The resource person  was Dr. Surinder Paul, Chief reporter, Jalandhar, Amar Ujala newspaper. Sh. Rama Shankar, Coordinator (HOD) department, Jatinder Singh Rawat, Arvinder Singh & Kavita Thakur welcomed him in the department. Mr. Surinder Paul Adressing the students he said that indian press especially the field journalists have a great responsibility to play making India a real democracy. He also felt concerned about the fake news culture, as it a serious threat to society. After that “JMC NEWS” a monthly departmental newspaper was also released on the occasion. Sh. Arvinder Singh, Assistant Prof.  gave vote of thanks .

Dr.Surinder Paul was presented a token of love by the the department. Mr. Rama Shankar ( Co-ordinator. On This Occasion Department of JMC and staff members were also present.
