Jalandhar : DAV University was adjudged the best Media today trophy at the Media Fest organised by Hansraj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya. The one-day Media fest, Prix Mosaic 2016 was organised by Department of Multimedia. The students of DAV University won prizes in Caption writing, poster making and Quiz.

Prof. A.K.Paul, Vice Chancellor congratulated the students of the University for winning the trophy and also motivated them to participate in other fests as well.

Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Rattu, Director Media and Head, Department, Journalism and Mass Communication was the chief guest at the valedictory function. He in his address motivated to students to participate in various competitions and to excel in co-curricular activities along with studies. Dr Rattu also share his rich experiences of  35 years media journey. 

Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Sareen, principal of HMV College appreciated the students for only participating but also organising a creative competition and underlined the contribution of Dr Rattu in the field of Media and Journalism.  Mr. Jagjit Bhatia, Department of Computer Science and Information Technology introduced various competitions organised in the fest.

Students of DAV University Sushma Kadyan and Nikita Bedi, BJMC-II won the first prize in the poster making while Sushma Kadyan , BJMC-II won first prize in caption writing. The team of Nikita Bedi and Arshpreet Kaur won the quiz competition.
