Department of Economics under the aegis of School of Social Sciences is organising a One Week National Workshop on ‘Econometric Applications in Social Sciences’ (coordinated by Dr Satinder Kumar and Dr Robin Singhal) from April 13-19, 2017 at DAV University, Jalandhar.

Resource persons invited for the workshop includes Dr Amarjit Singh Sethi, Professor, Punjab School of Economics, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar; Dr Nitin Arora, Assistant Professor, Panjab University, Chandigarh; Dr Shalini Saksena, Associate Professor and Dr Nasim Ansari, Assistant Professor from Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, University of Delhi.

More than 20 delegates from different universities are attending the workshop. The organising committee for the event includes Ms Megha, Ms Monika, Ms Neha and Ms Reena. More than 20 delegates from different universities are participating in the workshop.
