DAV University Jalandhar celebrated International Women’s Day and dedicated the commemoration to “Women Empowerment and Leadership.”

Mrs. Rajni Bector, an iconic figure in the Indian business landscape, representing Bectors Food Specialties and Cremica Group of Companies Ltd shared her experiences and insights into women’s leadership and empowerment. She called upon the audience to work for gender equality and inclusivity in their respective fields.

Earlier, Prof (Dr) Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, DAV University emphasized the pivotal role of women in various spheres of life. His insightful remarks set the tone for an engaging and thought-provoking session.

Dr. Viney Kapoor Mehra, Former Vice Chancellor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, talked about women empowerment. Dr. Mehra articulated the need for systemic changes and collective action to dismantle barriers hindering women’s progress.

Dr. Kamaljeet Kaur Sidhu, Dean of Students Welfare presented the vote of thanks.
