Noted Punjabi singer Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai were the star attractions at DAVUtsav – a three mega-fest organized by DAV University from April 20 to 22, 2016. The techno-cultural fest also witnessed the star cast of Baisaki List – a comedy film. Cultural performances including Fashion show and battle of bands were other major attractions of the show.

The fest was organized to commemorate the Raising Day of the University and birth anniversary of Mahatma Hans Raj. The fest started with DAV’s tradition of performing yajna.

The first day was dedicated to cultural and fine arts events including street plays while Jimmy Shergil, Jaswinder Bhalla, Sunil Grover and Ranjit Bawa enthralled the audience in the evening.

The second day of the fest focused on technical, agriculture, management and NSS events and boys and girls from different Universities and colleges from across Punjab and Chandigarh would participate in the fashion show. The third day was Star Night.
