DAV University, Jalandhar has added another prestigious accolade to its achievements by being bestowed with the National Ranking Award in Sports and Physical Education for Best Institution for Sports Laboratories and Research Facilities at the Global Sports Education Convention (G-SEC 2026). The convention was successfully organised by the Centre for Sports Research and Innovation (CSRI) at the India International Centre, New Delhi, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

G-SEC 2026 brought together eminent academicians, sports scientists, physical educationists, administrators, and policymakers from across the country to deliberate on emerging trends, innovations, and challenges in sports education and physical education at the global level.

It is pertinent to mention that the award was conferred in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, renowned sports educators, and representatives of leading educational institutions. This recognition reflects DAV University’s sustained commitment to fostering excellence in sports education, cutting-edge research infrastructure, and holistic student development.
