The Vice-Chancellor of DAV University, Prof Rakesh Kumar Mahajan announced to set up various students clubs. These clubs would provide students a platform to nurture their hidden talent. Prof Mahajan, while addressing the students, said that academics and research should be complemented by co-curricular activities.
He said that the University would have a Green Club, Cleanliness Club, Indoor Game Club, Health and Yoga Club and Creative Writing Club. Participation in the activities of these clubs would give a boost to the overall personality of the students. Co-curricular activities help one get an edge in life, he said. He also sought the students to attend classes religiously and remain focused on their goals.
Dean Academics, Dr Jasbir Rishi and faculty members were also present at the occasion.
