Harpreet Kaur will assume her role as a Civil Engineer in Armenia in November at the company's ambitious steel plant project. Tushar Sharma will join as an Assistant HR in June 2024, upon completing his MBA.
The rigorous recruitment process consisted of two rounds, including an aptitude test and a personal interview. The candidates' exceptional performance throughout the selection process earned them these prestigious positions.
The extraordinary international placements of Harpreet Kaur and Tushar Sharma underscore DAV University's commitment to nurturing talent and providing students with the tools and opportunities needed to excel on the global stage.
Dr. Manoj Kumar, the Vice-Chancellor of DAV University, expressed his pride in the students' accomplishments, attributing their success to the university's adoption of an artificial intelligence-based placement process automation system initiated by IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Alumni. Dr. Manoj Kumar reiterated the university's commitment to innovation and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to facilitate the growth and development of its students.
Dr. Manoj highlighted the university's comprehensive approach to student enrichment and training programmes. Placecom, a company specializing in student training and placement services, organized a sensitization programme to understand the students' training needs. Vishal Sood and Om Kanoujia, resource persons, conducted training sessions to groom students for placement success.
He said, DAV University also places a strong emphasis on meeting students' training requirements. Kiran Chaudhary, the Placement Officer at the university, credited the use of technology and advanced pre-placement techniques for the impressive 300 percent increase in students' placement packages.
