DAV University student reaches Final Round of Mr Punjab 2016, Appeals for Votes

Mr. Arshpreet Singh Sandhu, Student of B-Tech Civil Engineering got selected as the finalist of MR PUNJAB 2016 contest. He is pursuing B-Tech in Civil Engineering at DAV University. Arshpreet is also an accomplished Bhangra performer.

About 1500 young boys from across Punjab had appeared in auditions of MR PUNJAB 2016 contest organized by PTC Punjabi Channel.

Following six rigorous rounds, only 16 aspirants including Arshpreet Singh managed to qualify for Semifinals. In the next completion, only ten aspirants could make it to the Final round of the competition. The grand Finale of Event will held on December 10 in Ludhiana and will be telecast live on PTC Punjabi.

“I am happy to make it to the Final Round. The blessings of the almighty and good wishes of my friends and fellow students will help me sail through the contest,” said Arshpreet Singh. “I appeal everyone to vote for me. Lines are open till December 10,” he said.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Dr A K Paul has expressed happiness that Arshpreet has reached the Final Round of the contest. “I wish him success at the contest and hope he brings laurels to the University.”

Mr Sudhir Arora, Coordinator, Department of Civil Engineering said Arshpreet was a promising boy. “We are looking forward to see him victorious,” he said. Mr Ranjodh Singh, Assistant Professor at the Department also wished him luck.
