DAV University and Elite Universal Sports Alliance India now promote Sport activity and sport players jointly. A ceremony in this regard held in DAV University on December 21 to launch DAV University Sport logo. The Elite Universal Sports Alliance India is a company desirous of commercializing university sports in the Indian subcontinent, and in India in particular, by replicating university models followed in the United States of America (USA) through unifying and aggregating Indian universities to participate in commercially viable sports tournaments and telecasting such commercially viable sports for entertainment and monetization (Business).
On this occasion Mr Darshpreet “Duke”, Managing Director of University Affairs, Elite University Sports Alliance of India told the University fellows that the company intends to tap into the potential of Indian University athetes and provide a first of its kind platform for such athletes to showcase their talents, train and play at a national level. Dr Raj Kumar Sharma President, Elite Universal Sports Alliance also discussed benefits to the University that they provide a platform for athletes will be provided to showcase their talents, train and play at a national level. Exposure may bring to universities such as scholarships, additional revenue sources, television rights for the broadcasting of university level events, potential recruitment opportunities for talented students.
Earlier Vice chancellor Prof (Dr) A. K. Paul congratulate the sport department for this success to promote the University sport activity and thanks for EUSA to choose DAV University for such activity and launch Sport logo on this occasion. The ceremony attended dignitaries of the University Dean Dr Naresh Sahajpal, Registrar Dr. Rekha Kalia Bhardwaj, Executive Director Rajan Gupta, Director Media Dr K K Rattu, Dr K. N. Kaul , Anil Kumar Uppal.
