Jalandhar, April 19

DAV University in Jalandhar is set to implement the new education policy and work out modalities to preserve the Indian Knowledge System starting from the next academic session.

The university's decision is a significant step towards preserving and promoting India's rich cultural heritage.

This was announced by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Kumar, during the university's foundation day celebrations. The Chancellor of the University, Dr. Punam Suri, a Padma Shri awardee, conveyed his best wishes to the university and all its stakeholders.

The foundation day celebrations included a havan yajna and a Rishi Langar in honor of the birthdays of Mahatma Hansraj ji and Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Vice President of the DAV Management Committee, Dr. Ramesh Arya, Justice N.K Sood, the Vice President of the DAV Committee, Dr. Sanjeev Naval, Principal of DAVIET, Mr. Arvind Ghai, the Secretary of the DAV Management Committee, Principal Dr. Jatinder Sharma of DAV Physiotherapy College Jalandhar, and renowned philanthropist Sh. Sudhir Sharma.
