Jalandhar: The DAV University organized inter-college/inter-university cultural competitions, DAV UTSAV 2021 (Online) successfully. Students from all over the nation participated in this grand event. During the DAV UTSAV the events organized were: Literary, Drama, Singing, Media, Dance, Fine Arts, and Miss & Mr. Elite. More than 150 students from various colleges and universities participated in the events during DAV UTSAV.
Vice-Chancellor (Officiating), DAV University, Dr. Jasbir Rishi congratulated the students for participating in the events during DAV UTSAV.
The winners in various categories were; In kavita kunj, the first position was bagged by Himanshu Ranjan from DAV University, the second prize was won by Aakash Singh from DAV college Amritsar and Randhir Singh from DAV University and third position was bagged by two students- Deepshikha from DAV college for Education, Amritsar and Umieed from DAV University, Jalandhar.
In Miss. Elite 2021, Sonali Sharma from BBK DAV college For Women, Amritsar won the title of Miss Elite 2021 and Ruby from DAV University won the title of Miss Runner Up and in Mr. Elite 2021, Manveet Singh from DAV University, Jalandhar won the title of Mr. Elite 2021 and Yuvraj Munjal from Syon Collge, Abohar won the title of Mr. Runner Up.
The results of Elocution competition were: First prize won by Rupam Prashar from DAV University, Second prize won by Ashima Mehta from DAV college for Education, Amritsar, Third prize won by Kriti Gaba from DAV University, Jalandhar.
As far as Envisage is concerned, the first position was bagged by Shifa Vaid ,DAV University, Jalandhar, the second prize was bagged by Manu Bhardwaj from DAV University, Jalandhar and the third prize bagged by Sapna Sharma from DAV University, Jalandhar.
In the Abhivyakti , the first prize was won by Muskan Bawa from Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, the Second position was bagged by Samarth Arora from DAVIET, Jalandhar and the third position won jointly by Sanyam singh from Thapar University and Nishant Kumar from DAV University, Jalandhar.
In the Solo Singing (Classical), Arihant Dev Sharma from Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar bagged the first position. The second prize was won by Harjinder Singh, APJ College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. In the Solo Singing (Bollywood) Nikita Puri from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar bagged the first position and the second prize was bagged by Muskan Handa from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar The Third prize was won jointly by Ashutosh Jaggi, DAV University, Jalandhar and Major Singh, S.L. Bawa D.A.V. College, Batala. In the category of folk singing, first position bagged by Harpinder Sanyal from Shanti Devi Arya Maheela College, second position won by Chahat Guleria, Sdam College, Dinanagar and the third position was bagged by Sakshi Chopra from D.A.V. University, Jalandhar.
The results of Radio Jockey competition were as follows: first prize won by Avni Batra from BBK DAV College for women, Amritsar, second prize won by Shweta Thakur from DAV University, Jalandhar. Third prize won by Amanjot Randhawa from DAV Berrygate for Women Education College, Amritsar.
In the PTC, the first prize was won by Alishka Lagwal from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, the second position was bagged by Anmoldeep Chahal from DAV University, Jalandhar and the third position won by Umieed from DAV University, Jalandhar.
As far as Audio Advertisement is concerned, the first position was bagged by Diksha Sahani , BBK DAV College for women, Amritsar, the second prize won by Nazia Parween from DAV University, Jalandhar and the third prize won by Sejal bhanot from Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College Dinanagar, Gurdaspur.
In Step 'in stage(Solo Dance), first position was bagged by Ria Khanna from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar and Second Position was bagged by Ishita dogra, from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar.
In the Bhangra competition, Gagandeep Singh from Folk Beatz Academy bagged first position, second position bagged by Mansi from DAV University, Jalandhar and third position was won by Amritpreet Kaur from DAV University, Jalandhar.
In the Paint the canvas, the first prize was won by Inderpreet Kaur from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, the second position was bagged by Gaurav from DAV University, Jalandhar and the third position was bagged by Richa.
In the Doodling, the first prize was won by Paulami Mazumdar from Saroop Rani Government College for Girls Amritsar, the Second position was bagged by Ramneet Kaur from DAV College of education for Women, Amritsar and the third position won jointly by Tanvi from DAV University, Jalandhar and Rajpreet Kaur, from BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar.
In the Poster making, the first prize was won by Sonia Bawa from BBK Saroop Rani Government College for Girls Amritsar, the second position was won by Naynika Kumari Nikumb from DAV University, Jalandhar and the third position won by Ramneet Kaur from DAV College of education for Women, Amritsar.
