DAV University recently organised a session on "Idea Generation and Validation" as part of its ongoing Entrepreneurship Orientation Programme. The event aimed at fostering entrepreneurial acumen among students and offering them a platform for transformative learning and practical skill development.

The event was co-organised by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC) and DAVU Incubation Centre in collaboration with Startup Punjab. A noted entrepreneur and academician, Dr. Ashish Arora, Professor at GNDU College Jalandhar, served as the resource person while Mr. Salil Kaplesh, representative of Startup Punjab, was the esteemed guest of honour.

Strategically tailored to aid participants in the forthcoming mock pitch session, the event offered invaluable insights into identifying viable business opportunities. Dr. Arora underscored the imperative nature of effective implementation, highlighting that mere ideation devoid of action rendered no value. He elucidated the utilisation of the business model canvas by startups and provided hands-on training on idea validation methodologies.
Dr. Arora’s practical insights made the attendees engage in the interactive session. The discussion encompassed pivotal facets of generating and validating business ideas, equipping participants with the tools necessary to translate aspirations into tangible strategies.
