DAV University commemorated International Yoga Day under the theme "Yoga for Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam." The event aimed to promote awareness about physical and mental well-being among the faculty and staff members.
The celebration showcased the institution's commitment to promoting holistic well-being among its faculty and staff. By emphasizing the benefits of yoga and providing practical guidance, the event successfully instilled a sense of awareness and inspired individuals to integrate yoga into their daily lives for a healthier and happier future.
The participants included Dr. Yeshbeer Singh, Head, Department of Sports, Dr. Manju Deorari, Mr. Rohit Chauhan, Ms. Anuradha, and Acharya Pradyumana, other faculty members and staff.
The event emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into one's life to achieve happiness and good health. Yoga, an ancient practice that combines physical postures, meditation, and yogic techniques, is known to improve the quantity and quality of one's life force, or prana.
Dr. Manju Deorari, the Yoga Expert, conducted yoga sessions, guiding participants through various asanas (postures) and Pranayama (breathing exercises) to enhance their health and well-being. Her expertise in yoga practices provided valuable insights to the participants, equipping them with tools to improve their overall health.
