“As the new format of education and global communication has brought a new world before India and with the contribution of education in India, its youth also plays a pivotal role towards the glorious future of the nation; hence, youth is the core strength of India” stated Prof. Brijkishore Kuthiala, Chairman, Haryana Education Council. He addressed the students and the faculty on the occasion of  the fifth foundation day of the University. Prof. Kuthiala opined that the contribution of D.A.V. organisation towards the field of education is unique and supreme. Its remarkable role can never be forgotten in the field of education. The celebration of the auspicious day began with the chanting of holy mantras and by putting the holy offerings into the havana. Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Rakesh Kumar Mahajan, while giving a detailed description of the University’s academic and co-curricular activities stated that the D.A.V. University always takes initiatives for the all-round development of its students. He communicated his heart-felt congratulations to each and every member of the institution. The chief guest of the occasion Prof. B.S. Dahiya, former Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, in his address emphasized the need of providing more attention to the present education system. The D.A.V. institutions have contributed immensely in revolutionising the Indian education, stated Prof. Dahiya. Dr. Sushma Arya, Registrar, while introducing Dr. Kuthiala, also welcomed the present dignitaries and extended her congratulations on the occasion. Dr. Deshbandhu Gupta, Dean Academics expressed his heartfelt happiness and congratulated the students. The langar was also served to all the invited guests, present faculty and the students.
