DAV University played host to an international-level book fair that witnessed the convergence of 19 renowned publishers, displaying more than 5000 titles from various subject fields. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Manoj Kumar, Vice Chancellor, DAV University, setting the stage for the literary extravaganza.

The inaugural ceremony saw a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Dr. Manoj Kumar, who spoke passionately about the importance of books in shaping young minds. He emphasized the need for students to have access to a diverse range of reading materials and expressed his delight at seeing this vision come to life at DAV University.
"This event not only fosters a love for reading but also showcases our university's commitment to nurturing knowledge seekers. We wish to make this type of book fair a yearly tradition, continuing to provide our students with access to the best literature the world has to offer," he said.

The Book Fair, organized under the aegis of the Knowledge Resource Centre (library), marked a significant milestone in the university's commitment to promoting knowledge dissemination.
Maninder Kaur Sood, Assistant Librarian and Incharge, Knowledge Resource Centre played a pivotal role in orchestrating the event, ensuring that it transcended the boundaries of a typical book fair. Speaking about the initiative, Ms. Sood stated that the aim of the book fair was to create a platform where the worlds of academia and publishing intersected harmoniously.
The book fair drew widespread appreciation from the university's dedicated staff, and the enthusiastic students.
