DAV University has launched Payment Gateway to facilitate payment of University fee online. The portal launched in collaboration with HDFC Bank is in conformity with the Prime Minister’s Digital India initiative. The portal was launched by Prof (Dr) Rakesh Kumar Mahajan, Vice-Chancellor, DAV University and Mr Iqbal Singh, Zonal Head, HDFC, Amritsar.

Mr Iqbal Singh said that the gateway will help fee transaction with various modes including net banking, credit card and debit card. The method of fee payment is simple and hassle free. The Vice-Chancellor Prof Rakesh Kumar Mahajan said that the payment gateway was a step toward making the University campus paper free.

The Executive Director of the University Mr Rajan Gupta said that HDFC bank had waived off transaction charges to be levied on transactions by the University students or their parents. He said that the parents would also get a cashback on the fee paid if the transaction is made using the HDFC Cards. The payments made by the bank’s credit card would add attractive reward points to users account.

Dr Sushma Arya, Registrar, DAV University said that the launch of the online gateway would add to the convenience of all the students and their parents for the payment of fee. The payment of fee online will take less than a minute.

The interface of the portal is prepared by DAV Information System (DAVIS) and Accounts and Finance Department of the University.
